"God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has comitted some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. I shall do good and be a preacher of truth in my own place."

Prayer for Christian Aid
God of the rushing wind,
sweep through my indifference.
God of the fiery flames,
ignite my compassion.
God of the many voices,
open my mouth to speak out against injustice.
That through your Spirit and my actions this world may be transformed.
